Mission:
Empower the evolution of global consciousness through video, sound, and the power of storytelling.
Areya has always held a passion for storytelling in all its forms. She made her first film at age 16, a documentary on mercury poisoning, an illness she had experienced first-hand on two occasions. Experiencing how storytelling and the medium of film could make a positive impact made her decide to become a filmmaker. The phoenix feather logo, with its associations with rebirth from ashes, symbolizes her passion which was born out of struggle.
Areya graduated Magna Cum Laude from Savannah College of Art and Design in June of 2012 with a BFA in Film and Television and a minor in Sound Design in Savannah, GA. She now has over 10 years of professional experience in all aspects of video production, photography, and sound design through work on client projects, independent films, and 3 internships.
Areya has been a self-employed video producer/editor since 2013, creating videos and providing multimedia support for various clients, including non-profits like CARE and businesses in the Atlanta area.
